As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Response Driver in Morganton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government corrections location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will deliver professional customer service, communicate clearly, and support a caring, team-oriented culture grounded in integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government corrections location.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access and movement through designated entry points, verify authorization as required, and report access concerns or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and applicable laws.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports and activity logs documenting patrols, incidents, observations, and actions taken.
