As a Security Officer Armed Driver Emergency Response in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
  • Have at least one year of law enforcement experience, at least two years of security supervisor or manager experience, or at least three years of security experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established financial institution protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business areas, entrances, parking facilities, and perimeter locations.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and report suspicious activity or policy violations to site management and/or law enforcement.
  • Complete accurate reports, maintain required documentation, and communicate observations and incidents to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
