About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Response Driver in Taylorsville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients at a government location. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. This full-time driving role requires a valid driver’s license. The schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 5:45 PM to 6:00 AM. The pay rate is $21.50 per hour.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures, government facility policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations calmly, follow established protocols, and notify appropriate personnel.
Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and document visitor activity, incidents, and unusual conditions in required reports.
Maintain assigned equipment and perform duties in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, and Allied Universal policies.
