As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Patrol in Portland, ME, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees, customers, and visitors. Requirements

Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking areas, access points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and maintain awareness of individuals entering and leaving the location.
Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrols, and other security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.
