Requirements

Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
Be at least 21 years of age.
This is primarily a driving post.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facility buildings, access points, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor and control access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
Observe and report unusual conditions, equipment concerns, and potential hazards to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
