As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Patrol in Hurlock, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. Requirements

  • At least two years of security-related experience is required.
  • At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Baton certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, vehicle, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific policies.
  • Maintain required reports and logs, communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, and follow all applicable armed post procedures.
