As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Patrol in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, permissions, and/or identification in accordance with site procedures while supporting a professional presence at the location.
• Assist with emergency situations, alarms, evacuations, and/or requests for assistance while following post orders and applicable use of force guidelines.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
