Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Security License in Texas only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including sales floors, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter access points.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or potential hazards to help to deter theft, trespassing, and other unauthorized conduct.
• Support access control and security-related response efforts by verifying authorized entry, assisting with crowd management, and/or communicating with local law enforcement when needed.
