About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Patrol Driver in Wichita, Kansas, you will safeguard clients at an aerospace and defense location. You will conduct armed vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible security presence, support access control and incident response, and provide customer service and clear communication. The position is part-time, with scheduled shifts on Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Pay is $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
An armed guard card or license.
A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participation in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of flight line areas, aircraft-adjacent locations, facilities, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, contractors, and vehicles according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
Maintain reports and activity logs covering observations, incidents, patrols, and access-control concerns.
