Requirements

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• An active Department of Defense Secret clearance is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and authorized contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, controlled areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials and authorization in accordance with site procedures for an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, training, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific requirements.
