About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Driver in Lillington, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal at a government location as an armed patrol officer in a driving post, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to evolving situations with professionalism. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public agencies as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues through established channels.
• Support site operations by remaining prepared to respond to alarms, requests for assistance, medical situations, and/or other urgent events in accordance with post orders and applicable guidelines.
