Join Allied Universal at a dynamic educational location as an Armed Patrol Officer in a driving post. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, support access and badge activities, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Possess 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an educational location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner while maintaining assigned armed post responsibilities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and activity across the location, report unusual conditions, and document incidents in accordance with site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Support students, staff, and visitors by providing directions, assistance, and timely communication during routine operations and/or emergency situations.
