Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including requesting assistance when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry, prohibited items, and/or suspicious activity in accordance with post orders and facility rules.
• Prepare accurate reports on incidents, patrol activity, and/or notable observations, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and authorized personnel.
