You will conduct routine mobile and foot patrols across transit facilities, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, respond to calls for service, and assist riders and staff with clear, respectful communication. Requirements

Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Baton Certification is preferred.
Customer Service Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to riders, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at government transportation locations.
Perform armed patrol duties on foot and/or by vehicle throughout stations, platforms, parking areas, and surrounding perimeters to help to deter unwanted activity and identify irregular conditions.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and service calls in a calm, problem-solving manner, using de-escalation techniques and coordinating with site leadership and local responders as needed.
Control access to restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and monitor entry points to support compliance with site rules and regulations.
Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and other documentation, and communicate key information promptly to Allied Universal management and site representatives.
