About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Emergency Response in Vineland, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in an educational setting. You will conduct routine armed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. You will represent Allied Universal’s caring, reliable culture through teamwork, integrity, and a commitment to supporting a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. This is a full-time position scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, at a rate of $20.73 per hour.

Requirements

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program, or equivalent.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess a college degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation, consistent with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and conduct emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the business and perimeter.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
