About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Driving Role in Troy, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control screening, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and/or relevant public agency partners as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and support security-related operations.
• Monitor for unusual behavior, policy violations, contraband concerns, and/or potential hazards, and report findings according to post orders and site procedures.
• Support controlled movement, checkpoint coverage, and/or restricted area access while maintaining professional presence and following all applicable armed post protocols.
