As a Security Officer Armed Driving Patrol in Blanch, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and emergency response. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a government location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence consistent with post orders.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, entrances, exits, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and document visitor, staff, and contractor movement according to location requirements.
Prepare clear, timely reports on incidents, observations, and/or daily activities, and communicate relevant information with site contacts, supervisors, and public sector personnel.
