As a Security Officer Armed Driving Patrol in Blanch, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and emergency response. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • An armed guard card/license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence consistent with post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, entrances, exits, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and document visitor, staff, and contractor movement according to location requirements.
  • Prepare clear, timely reports on incidents, observations, and/or daily activities, and communicate relevant information with site contacts, supervisors, and public sector personnel.
