As a Security Officer - Armed Driving Community in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a residential location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Guard card is required
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or local law enforcement when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the community, including residential streets, common areas, parking areas, amenities, and perimeter access points, to help identify unusual activity and policy violations.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, gates, and/or amenity areas, verify access permissions when required, and help to deter unauthorized entry, trespassing, and/or disruptive behavior.
  • Prepare clear, accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift pass-down notes, and communicate important updates regarding resident concerns, property conditions, and/or security-related issues.
