Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and interact professionally with employees and visitors. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
  • Possess an armed guard card/license.
  • Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aero and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, controlled areas, parking locations, and perimeter points, remaining aware of varying environments and conditions across the site.
  • Monitor access activity and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying credentials, observing for unusual behavior, and following post orders related to restricted areas and sensitive operations.
  • Support incident response and security-related reporting by preparing clear written logs, maintaining post documentation, and assisting with response coordination during operational disruptions and/or emergencies.
