As a Security Officer Armed Driver Visitor Processing in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Armed Access Control Officer at a premier private club location, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access, assisting members and guests, and responding to security-related concerns. Requirements

  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to members, guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor and control access to the property, including verifying credentials, managing visitor entry, and maintaining accurate access-related records.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
  • Communicate professionally with site personnel and emergency responders, documenting incidents and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
