About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Driver Threat Deterrence in Renton, Washington, you will serve and safeguard clients at an aerospace and defense location. You will conduct routine armed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for personnel and operations. This driving post calls for communication and customer-service skills and an approach grounded in integrity and teamwork.

The position is full-time and pays $29.73 per hour. The scheduled hours are 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• A concealed carry weapons permit.
• At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• A valid driver's license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, coordinating with site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports on patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities while maintaining confidentiality.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
