About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Driver Entry Authorization in El Dorado, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Armed Access Control Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and provide professional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, visitors, vendors, and deliveries in accordance with established site requirements.
  • Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry records; issue and retrieve access credentials as directed by site procedures.
  • Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, surrounding areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized entry and identify security-related concerns.
