About The Position

As a full-time Security Officer Armed Driver Badge Control in Delray Beach, Florida, you will serve and safeguard clients at a government location. You will manage access points, verify badges and credentials, monitor activity, conduct routine patrols, and provide professional customer service while helping maintain a secure environment. The role calls for teamwork and integrity and includes driving duties.

The schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $21.85 per hour.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• An armed guard card or license.
• A valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to complete a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Ability to complete a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply prior to employment, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Monitor entry points and verify authorized access using established credentials, visitor logs, and/or access-control systems.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations professionally, following site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Accurately document incidents, unusual activity, and access-related concerns and communicate relevant information to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
