As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Communications in Manassas, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol professional at a residential location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support residents and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific policies, documenting observations and maintaining accurate activity reports.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
