Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including offices, production areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations, with working conditions that may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry, theft, tampering, and/or disruptions by verifying credentials, observing activity, and following post orders.
• Support security-related operations within a technology and media-focused location by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with de-escalation when needed, and coordinating with site contacts and/or emergency responders.
