About The Position

As a Security Officer Alarm Triage in Cumberland, RI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, employees, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
  • Receive, prioritize, and dispatch security-related calls, alarms, and requests for assistance to appropriate personnel using radios, telephones, and computerized dispatch systems.
  • Monitor access control, alarm, camera, and communication systems; document relevant activity and escalate unusual conditions according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating communication with on-site personnel and emergency responders as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, and shift reports while supporting regular and random patrol activity around the facility and perimeter.
