As a Security Officer Alarm Panel Access in SAVANNAH, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic retail distribution location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor alarm and access control systems, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the distribution center, including building perimeters, loading areas, parking areas, and access points.
• Monitor access to the location by observing pedestrian and vehicle activity, verifying authorized entry as directed, and reporting irregular conditions.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with site-specific requirements and Allied Universal procedures.
