As a Security Officer - Alarm Panel Response in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge procedures, monitor alarm activity, and provide exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
  • Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and vendors at a front desk in a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
  • Greet visitors, verify access authorization, manage visitor sign-in processes, and issue temporary credentials in accordance with established procedures.
  • Monitor access points, visitor activity, and security-related systems from the front desk, escalating unusual activity or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures.
  • Maintain accurate visitor, access, and incident documentation while providing professional communication and assistance to all individuals entering the location.
