Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
  • 1+ years of Security Experience
  • 21+ years of age
  • Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
  • Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate for the location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting relevant details to site contacts and/or local authorities when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter access points to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity at designated areas, verify authorized access when required, and assist with directing people according to location protocols and/or operational needs.
  • Support public-facing operations by answering questions, providing directions, and communicating professionally with travelers, employees, contractors, and government personnel.
