About The Position

As a Airport Security Officer - Park Team in Honolulu, HI, you will safeguard the airport, staff, and it's facilities. Along with driving, patrolling, checking, and securing doors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication to all visitors and staff. Requirements

• Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
• 1+ years of security experience
• 21+ years of age
• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, and airport personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting relevant details to supervisors and/or public agency contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, restricted access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations as assigned.
• Monitor access activity and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying credentials, observing suspicious behavior, and/or reporting security-related concerns.
• Support operations at a government airport location by assisting with traffic and pedestrian flow, giving directions, and communicating clearly with staff and/or members of the public.
• Safeguard the airport, staff, and its facilities.
• Drive, patrol, check, and secure doors.
• Conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and communication to all visitors and staff.
