As a Security Officer Airport Access Control in Santa Ana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic government airport location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to the appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and document security-related incidents, observations, and/or daily activities in accordance with site procedures.
• Support operations at a government location by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and communicating professionally with the public and/or local personnel.
