About The Position

As a Security Officer Airport Access Control in Santa Ana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy government airport location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Be able to lift more than 20 pounds, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and/or visitor activity in accordance with post instructions, while assisting with access control and directional support for staff and the public.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, local authorities, and/or site contacts as needed.
