As a Security Officer Patrol Detail in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. In this role, you will support access awareness, provide exceptional customer service and communication, and bring Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every shift.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security professional license is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, badge verification, and other security-related support activities at an aero and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report conditions, observations, and actions taken according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, assist with access control procedures, and help to confirm that only authorized personnel and approved visitors are admitted to restricted areas.
  • Support emergency response activities, follow post orders, and communicate with supervisors, employees, and/or local responders when situations require additional attention.
