As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Associate in Auburn, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a busy retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control activities, interact with shoppers and staff, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor customer and employee activity, observe for suspicious behavior, and communicate with site contacts and/or local law enforcement when needed.
• Support loss prevention efforts by observing merchandise areas, documenting incidents, and assisting with access control, closing procedures, and/or other assigned post duties.
