As an Armed Patrol Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an Act 235 qualification in Pennsylvania.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of aerospace and defense facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and armed post protocols.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and document patrols, observations, incidents, and/or violations in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain assigned equipment and firearm in accordance with applicable laws, training, Allied Universal policies, and client-site procedures.
