As a Security Officer - Access Verification in Ladson, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at an automotive manufacturing or corporate location by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and security-related policies.
Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes as directed, and maintain accurate access-control logs and records.
Respond to access-control concerns, incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel when needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entrances, parking areas, business spaces, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unauthorized access or unusual activity.
Support emergency response activities in accordance with site-specific procedures and provide clear communication to visitors, employees, and responding personnel.
