As a Security Officer Full Time Access Systems Driver in Baytown, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a utilities location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help deter unauthorized access. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and team members, and conduct security-related duties with integrity. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and drivers while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a utilities location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate locations.
  • Screen vehicles, deliveries, and materials in accordance with site procedures; report unauthorized access attempts, suspicious activity, and policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and communication protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, operational areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
