About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Compliance in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Security Officer at a residential location, you will help manage entry and exit activity, verify authorized access, and maintain a welcoming, professional presence for residents and visitors. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with residents, guests, and team members. Requirements

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorization for residents, guests, deliveries, and service personnel, and maintain accurate visitor and vehicle access records.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with residents, management, law enforcement, and emergency responders while documenting incidents and completing required reports.
