About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Screening in OMAHA, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will help manage entry points, monitor site activity, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, identification checks, visitor processing, and/or credential verification at entry and exit points.
  • Monitor entrances, gates, and/or designated access points at the location to help to deter unauthorized entry, support traffic flow, and report unusual activity in accordance with post orders and facility policies.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, parking areas, and/or production-related spaces, observing conditions and reporting maintenance, policy, and/or security-related concerns.
  • Support screening and inspection processes for people, vehicles, packages, and/or deliveries as permitted by site policy, while maintaining professional interactions in a fast-paced food and beverage location.
