As a Security Officer Access Screening in Eden, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer in a busy retail location, where you will help monitor entry points, verify access, and support a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and provide strong customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, associates, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and designated access points to help support authorized entry, verify credentials, and document visitor and delivery activity in accordance with post instructions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns and completing detailed reports on security-related events as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, sales floor areas, stockroom access points, and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
