Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help support access control operations, monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, and provide professional customer service and communication. In this role, you will help promote a secure environment through teamwork, integrity, and a caring approach while bringing an agile, reliable, and innovative mindset to daily security-related responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, issue visitor passes, and document arrivals, departures, and/or deliveries in accordance with location protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Support truck gate and dock access activities by checking trailers, shipment paperwork, seals, and/or authorized pickup and delivery information as required by the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, and key access areas to help identify unusual activity and help support security-related policy compliance.
