As a Security Officer Access Monitor in Lewisport, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, monitoring entry and exit activity, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Control access at entry points by verifying credentials, processing visitors, contractors, and deliveries, and documenting arrivals and departures according to location policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including production areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, while reporting security-related concerns and access issues.
• Assist with monitoring gates, badges, keys, and vehicle access to help support authorized movement throughout the location and help to deter unauthorized entry.
