Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, maintain visitor logs, and report unusual activity or access concerns in accordance with site protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to support timely communication with site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, and key access areas, noting potential hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or suspicious activity within the location.
  • Assist with screening deliveries, directing authorized traffic, and documenting security-related events, observations, and/or incidents in a clear and professional manner.
