Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, and support routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific access control procedures, badge and credential verification practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, process authorized access requests, and/or help to deter unauthorized entry into the location in accordance with established policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and perimeter points, as assigned. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Support security-related operations by maintaining accurate logs, reporting unusual activity, and/or assisting with visitor management, deliveries, and contractor access procedures.
