Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access activities, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Respond to incidents, property concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, corridors, parking areas, exterior grounds, and/or perimeter access points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, observe onsite activity, and report maintenance, lighting, and/or property issues that could impact daily operations at the location.
  • Support Allied Universal standards by following post instructions, maintaining a visible presence, and assisting with routine security-related duties as assigned by site leadership.
