Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points for people, vehicles, and/or deliveries, verifying credentials, permissions, and required documentation before granting access to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, gates, and restricted areas, helping to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and/or contractor logs, report access issues or policy violations, and support security-related screening processes at this chemical and petrochemical location.
