About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Credential Coordination in Richardson, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Security Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control activities, communicate professionally with tenants and visitors, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor access to the commercial real estate location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain applicable entry records.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the building, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report maintenance or security-related concerns.
  • Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with site-specific requirements.
