About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Credential Auditing in Dover, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a financial institution location, you will help maintain a secure, welcoming environment by managing visitor entry, verifying credentials, issuing badges, monitoring access points, and responding to security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a visible presence that helps deter incidents. Requirements

  • Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor access points, verify authorization, manage visitor entry procedures, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, access points, and perimeter to help identify irregular conditions and support security-related operations.
  • Support a professional, controlled environment at a financial services location while following Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
