About The Position

As a Security Officer Credential Screening in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will support a secure environment by monitoring access points, screening visitors and deliveries, and responding to security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with site personnel, and use technology to document activity. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a technology infrastructure location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-screening requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Screen personnel, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures; verify credentials, maintain visitor records, and direct authorized individuals to designated areas.
  • Monitor entry points and screening equipment, report irregularities or prohibited items, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site requirements.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the business and perimeter, while maintaining awareness of changing working environments and conditions.
