In this access control role, you will support daily operations with a caring, reliable approach, work as part of a team, and reflect integrity while assisting employees, visitors, and drivers throughout the site.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, vendors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and documenting entry and exit activity at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, gates, and/or reception areas to help to deter unauthorized entry, assist with visitor processing, and report suspicious, unusual, and/or prohibited activity according to site policies.
• Respond to incidents, delivery disputes, alarm conditions, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, trailer yards, loading and unloading areas, and perimeter, noting maintenance concerns, unsecured access points, and/or other security-related issues.
• Complete required logs, incident reports, and communication records, and support Allied Universal and site leadership with security-related procedures, emergency response activities, and/or post orders.
